Well, I'm calling this a "fade alert" to keep consistent with my other fade test posts, but honestly, there's really nothing much to "alert" anyone to! I'd read over and over how Go Girl is a notoriously bad color fader, so I was expecting the color to fade in line with what I experienced with My Nightly Craving. But honestly, I barely even noticed the fade!
Gelish Go Girl Fade
On the left is day 1, and on the right is day 14. The camera auto-compensated for light, so I think the picture on the left has cooler tones than the one on the right, but you can still see that after 14 days Go Girl was still a nice pink. It wasn't AS bright and vibrant as it was on day one, but I'd feel confident using this color again.

Maybe they've fixed the formula, or maybe I got lucky. I received this particular bottle in Mini form as part of the Gelish Glitter kit, so it was probably packaged within the last 6 or 7 months. Whether they fixed the color or I got lucky, I'm so happy that I have a reliable light pink I can use!!

I guess this is more of a fade warning than a fade alert.
Gelish Mauvy-Mauve Color Fade
The left picture is day 1, the right picture is day 11. I don't actually think the fade is too bad on this one and I'd definitely wear it again, but I did notice the fade as I wore it. It seemed to kick in around day 3 and evened out by day 8 or so. But at least it still looks like a pink mauve, even if it isn't as bright as it was on day one. Not bad, but worth noting.

Also, since I tend to keep my manicures on for up to 14 days, I thought I'd serve myself up as a test subject for Gelish pink color fading and keep a record of the type of color fading I experience with before and after pics. I've implemented a "fade scale" on my Color List and will start testing a lot of my light colors - specifically pinks. I figure this is a good time of year to test light pinks, with Valentine's Day around the corner ;)

Eventually I want to find gel polish color matches in other brands that match up to those Gelish colors that DO fade, and provide that info to ya'll :)

I've got another color fade to show you:
Gelish Take Action Color Fade
The lighter pink, the "face", is Take Action from the 2012 Breast Cancer Awareness line. The picture on the left is day one, the right is day 11. I was holding out hope that, maybe, Take Action wouldn't fade, but alas!

Chickettes actually posted a new Mauvy Mauve swatch that she wore for several days without fading. I think I might have to pick that one up and give it a try. I REEEALLY want a Gelish light pink that doesn't fade!!

Well, I've now seen it myself: My Nightly Craving is a fader.

I have to say, though, I thought I'd get 5 days, maybe a full week out of it, but no: the color faded in LESS THAN 24 HOURS.
So now I have a cafe-colored manicure rather than the pretty feminine pink one I wanted. Poo. Here's how it looks:
